With Valentine’s Day right around the corner Air France has again launched the “Week of Romance” social media campaign for its fifth annual installment. This year however, an added bonus has been attached with the sharing of Air France’s video about Brian and Tanika, a couple who attended last October’s Air France Instant Takeoff event in NYC and had a dream of eloping in Paris.

The video (view here) tells of how upon the event’s producers hearing Brian and Tanika’s story the pieces were put together as quickly as possible to offer the couple the wedding of their dreams, right in the middle of New York City. In less than 2 hours everything was able to come together for an incredible experience; complemented at the end with a honeymoon trip to Paris provided by Air France and Accor Hotels.

“It is within Air France’s brand values to be fun, spontaneous, and romantic and so once we heard the story about this ambitious young couple who had come to our event, choosing to support them was an easy decision,” said Marnix Fruitema, SVP AirFrance-KLM North America.

The Week of Romance campaign is an annual event held across Air France’s US social media channels in which fans and followers can tell Air France about their dream romantic Parisian getaway for the opportunity to win a trip that will make it come true. Held annually since 2011 in the week surrounding Valentine’s Day, the action is a mark of Air France’s commitment to engaging with customers online as well as reinforcing Paris as the optimal destination for romance.
